Always trim the candle wick down to 3 mm before every lighting to achieve cleaner burn.
The first time you burn your candle, be sure to let it burn so that the “simmer pool” (melted wax) reaches the edges of the vessel. Wax has a memory and if the candle is extinguished before the simmer pool reaches the edges, it will be difficult for the candle to burn properly later.
Before re-lighting your candle, be sure to trim the wick again, including any “mushroom” that has formed. This will ensure a controlled flame and help your candle to last longer.
Smoke or high flame means that the candle wick is too long. If that occurs, please blow out the candle, and cut the wick down.
Do not burn the candle longer than 3-4 hours.
After blowing out the candle, re-center, and straighten the wick.
Do not leave a lit candle unattended.
Never burn candles next to the wall or objects.
Do not burn the candle all the way down. Always leave at least 5 mm of non-molten wax at the bottom.
